FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions?
We’ve probably heard them.

Straight answers about how our research works, what you receive, and how to start.

How is this different from Clay, Apollo, or ZoomInfo?+

Those tools retrieve records from databases based largely on predefined fields and keyword matches. Sourcely handles the judgment-heavy work: translating your brief into research criteria, finding profiles across public online sources, and reviewing each result before it reaches your spreadsheet.

How quickly will I receive my research?+

Timing depends on volume, geography, niche and the number of required fields. A straightforward pilot can often be completed quickly; complex or multi-market requests take longer. We confirm the expected timeline before starting.

How does pricing work?+

Pricing is based on research complexity, target volume, geography and the requested data fields. You can begin with a clearly scoped one-off pilot before choosing recurring delivery.

Can I try Sourcely before committing to ongoing work?+

Yes. A pilot is the best way to test the criteria, format and usefulness of the output. If it works for your team, we can then plan recurring batches or expansion into additional markets.

Do you vet or recruit the people you find?+

No. Our core service is research and data delivery. We review whether public information matches the agreed research criteria, but screening, interviewing, availability checks, recruitment and hiring remain with your team.

What industries or niches do you cover?+

We can research B2B prospects, independent professionals, freelancers, creators, contractors, local service providers and niche experts across markets. Common use cases include travel, real estate, marketplaces, insurance, SaaS, agencies and field services.

What information will I receive?+

Your deliverable can include names, business details, location, market coverage, specialization, email, phone where publicly available, website, portfolio, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and any project-specific research field agreed in the brief.

What if a record does not match the agreed criteria?+

Tell us what is wrong. If a result clearly falls outside the agreed brief—such as the wrong niche, location or a non-working contact detail—we will review it and research an appropriate replacement.

Is my research request confidential?+

Yes. Your brief, criteria and project details are treated as confidential and are not shared outside the team working on your research.

Can you clean, update, or enrich data we already have?+

Yes. Existing data can be checked for outdated, incomplete, duplicated, or inconsistent records. We can also research and append new custom fields, turning an older list into a more useful working dataset.

Can you monitor changes after delivery?+

For suitable projects, yes. We can agree on a recurring refresh to check selected changes such as contact details, roles, company information, locations, or other project-specific signals.

How do I get started?+

Send us a brief through the contact form. It can be detailed or still rough. We will clarify the scope, required fields, volume, timeline and recommend a practical pilot.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

Send us the brief.

We’ll help define the research criteria and recommend a sensible first step.
